Privet villa with small pool is just excellent when you are...

Privet villa with small pool is just excellent when you are tired of the hotels/hostels and you want have your own property.

Decking around was dangers to walk with out shoes.

Decent place, nice location.

Its private, and by the beach!

Far too many insects, HUGE cockroaches, and all sorts! And after spraying the bug spray the following day when we came back after the tour we found the same dead bugs laying on the floor so they didnt really bother to clean well.

We loved everything about this villa. So cosy. It has everything you need and more :) WiFi is good. Good water pressure in the shower and the outside area is beautiful!

The villa is tastefully done. The open kitchen facing the living and the pool invites to spend the time on it. 20meters from the beach and good restaurants.

What was the highlight of El Nido Pool Villa

Not a bad place to stay when exploring el nido

The most awesome thing was that a turtle was living out front, and each morning we could watch him slowly poking his head out, looking around, wandering around, etc. This was the surprising highlight of staying at this place. The host and support staff were friendly and helpful. The room and outdoor area were nice. The vegetation and outdoor furniture arrangement, outdoor kitchen, etc was really nice. The whole front yard area was very private. The front yard area is very private. It is surrounded by very high walls, and the main door is locked from the inside with a padlock. The pool is very small, as is shown in the pictures, but it's nice to put your feet in there when it's warm outside. The host let us do an early checkin which was very helpful of them. They also offered to take care of our luggage past the checkout time on the departure date, which also was very nice of them.

The host helped arrange an airport pickup, which was nice of them, but the ride did not show up. Later they researched this and said that the driver had gone to the wrong airport. I had previously sent the flight info (copy/pasted itinerary from the airline including flight number, airline, airport, etc). They had actually asked for it twice --i think they forgot the second time so i copied/pasted it again. They had requested to communicate on whatsapp. After we landed and realized we were the only ones left at the airport and there was no pickup for us, we messaged the host, but they were not online on whatsapp. We ended up just taking a trike after about an hour. Copying/pasting the itinerary a few times -- and taking a trike instead of the requested van pickup -- were not a very big deal, but still, not very optimal experience for this sort of business. There was a hanging curtain dome thing over the bed, which was a nice idea and protected against mosquitos. The day we arrived, we noticed it had some large red-colored stains on it and we told them about it. They rectified this the next day while we were out. Afterwards we noticed some additional dirty spots on the washed/replaced curtains, but not quite so bad as big red spots so we didn't bother trying to address with them. But they clearly had a hard time keeping that clean and didn't seem to have replacements to swap between guests. The rest of the stuff in the room was reasonably clean. I noticed there is some kind of screen on the ceiling in the bathroom, and it's torn -- maybe that's where the mosquitos come in even with the doors closed. The beach is a short walk away from the unit, down a sort of alleyway past a number of other villas. It is impossible to actually see the beach from the property. The property is tagged "beachfront" in the booking.

A lot of character: hotel that feels more like a home. Exactly what you need when traveling to this beautiful part of the island. V comfortable, well maintained and personal. It made our stay very easy, and special, which surprised us as we usually spend a lot more on a hotel.

What was the highlight of El Nido Pool Villa

It was quiet and hidden

Overflowing shower from day one stayed there for 7 nights. Owner tried to blame us on day 4 as we accidentally put a tiny piece of tissue in toilet. Bed was rock hard our backs were sore leaving. Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and I’m travelled worldwide Outside deck is very dangerous to walk on. I’m a structural engineer and deem it a death trap as it’s super soft in lots of areas like you think your foot with burst through. The entrance lock and gate post blew over a few days before we left I noted with owner and still nothing done. Outside toilet blocked it may of been our fault putting small tissue Down but still we paid 1260€ to stay there and they did not get it fixed during our stay. The beach near elnido pool Villa is 10 sec walk very close but I would give it a 2/10 we visited most beaches around elnido and were not blown away nicer beaches in Perth Australia hands down. We asked if we could check out 2 days early when we arrived. We payed 830€ months before we arrived. We owed 360€ on arrival and were basically told by Owner in France over the phone that if we did not say the extra 2 days and pay we were getting kicked out by the Police. We were actually threatened by the French owner Isabelle that she would get the police over to throw us out demanding the money and would not let us alter our stay for personal reasons. Most arrogant lady I’ve ever had dealings with. Would lot even let us explain our case so honestly from the bottom of my heart be very very wary people. Totally not worth what we paid shop around. Very poorly maintained. Very disappointed not worth the money.

the decor of the villa was really beautiful, the housekeeper was very kind and the everthing was very clean except for the pool.

the pool was really disappointin, was dirty and full of mosquitoes so we hardly entered it. the airconditioner is old and noisy, the room smelled of dampness and mold, the toilet does not flush well i had to flush with a bucket. the location was not good, we had 3 power outage. the villa was not worth the price! the owner's attitude is horrific, she was really unpleasant. we are a couple celebrating a honeymoon. we booked the villa because of the private pool, because we thougt it would be really fun, even though the price is high. when we arrived the owner of the villa demanded the full amount - that was not fair because then we could not demand anything from her in return.

The place was beautiful, peaceful, lovely. It was the end of our trip and we really wanted to have been there the whole trip. Hosts were too amazing, kind, lovely people. I would recommend this place 200%.

Astrid (the lady that greets you) was amazing and very helpful when we checked in.

Pool in the villa was filthy and filled with mosquitos. Everything had that moldy, wet dog smell including the bed/pillows and the outdoor couch. Villa looked rundown and old. Bathroom had a funny smell. Loud music from the bars around it. Owner was incredibly rude and unfriendly. We were forced to pay for the owner's paypal commission. When we questioned the owner politely about why we had to pay her paypal charge (of 5.5%), she threatened to kick us out of the villa (this was at 8:00 at night when we had no where else to go). I have been to many places in Asia and have never been treated so rudely. Would not recommend staying here at all, value for money is horrific, very over priced. There are way better accommodation options in El Nido.
